Doug, I know we've had some contact in the past. I'm glad you're saving towards your BITA system. Two things I'd like you to think about: Have you evaluated the BITA to be sure it will be of help to you? and Have you called a number of specialists to get price quotes? The mark-up on low vision aids varies greatly from doctor to doctor and state to state. You are shopping for a very important item and you should be sure to do your homework, just as you would buying a house or (maybe soon) a car. Wouldn't want you to be disappointed or be taken advantage of. Good luck! Let us know how it works out for you!
