Forgive me, your question seems a little fuzzy! Where are you speaking about? The UK, US, Canada, elsewhere?
In the UK use of bioptics for driving is a policy matter, and there is no policy right now. This is being considered at a European level. At the driving test office, if you meet the minimum visual acuity, then away you go - they probably won't case about bioptics in that case.
