I have just recently found out about driving with BiOptics and my daughter (16) has Aniridia, we have an appointment with a DR. in NC in a few weeks, we have found out that this is allowed in SC but that they do not allow you to take the vision acuity test with them, they only allow you to drive with them. I wanted to know if anybody else has encountered this problem and what can be done to get around this without having to change the law. I think this is a way for the states to discriminate against driving with Bioptics.
