Hello, my name is Brent. I am 24 years old. I have Congenital Nystagmus. My vision with or without glasses is 20/200. I have wanted to drive since I turned 16 years old, and now I am pursuing a BiOptic drivers license. I can see 20/40 with my BiOptic, however, I am experiencing issues seeing Red stop lights and break lights. I am not color blind, and can see the color red, but if it is too bright outside I have a very difficult time. I can see red stop lights and break lights during the early morning and late evening hours. Has any one out there also gone through this, or do you have any suggestions on how to resolve this issue? I have filters for my glasses, which greatly help me see Yellow and Green during bright daylight hours. I've tried to research Red Central Contact Lenses, but I can't find much documentation on them. I'm not certain they are a solution to my problem, but I would like to explore this option.
