Jimmi You need to check with a low vision specialist. In Sweden you could try Kurt Johansson, MD, PhD. See: http://www.neurotec.ki.se/trmc Also, check with Vehicle and Driving Licence register, Swedish Road Safety Officer, Tunnlandsgaten 35- 70188 Orebro Sweden What is their position on this question? Are they aware of the current Dutch and Belgian on-road trials? Do they understand the EU Directive on driving licensure indirectly permits use of BiOptics for driving, or otherwise specifically excludes use of BiOptics for driving? Also ask them how the European principle of mutual recognition of driving licensure as well as the situations in which Member States retain certain competences, impact those various Europeans who drive with BiOptics in Sweden? If all else fails, post here again and I'll try to help more. This is not "just some kind of loophole that people exploit and that will soon cease to exist" In fact quite the contrary. You need to read more and talk with experts, if you are serious. Tim
