I am in the same boat as you, 20/200 and I honestly believe my ability to drive is very good. I can see street lights (including colour), cars and curves in the road as far away as anyone else. My difficulty is in reading road signs, I can read them but not until I am quite close to them. Obviously I know my own limitations and I am quite confortable with my ability to drive. I have no information about driving in Canada (Ontario). I did however, hear of a case put before the supreme court of Canada last year where a person with a disability challenged the law and said he diserved a chance to proove his abilities. From what I heard they ruled that people with disabilities do have the right to proove their abilities but I don't know how you go about doing this.
