Hi, I was up last night on the phone w/Debra and she was very upset about Amy's response. I thought I would look this up myself and see just how bad the response was from Amy. After reading it I felt just like Debra did, mad and upset. What gives you the right to judge any one until you walk a mile in their shoes, you don't know her or what she has been throught in her life. I'm very proud of her and what she has accomplished with her life, instead of giving up she worked hard and put herself through college to become a LVN and raised 4 children at the same time, and as a single mom, she may have been married but he wasn't there for her in her real time of need. Her family helped when they could but they also have families to take of. I have known Debra for almost 10 years know and when she told us she was going to get her liscence finally so she would'nt have to drive illegally we were very proud of her, after all its not like she's killed anyone! Her mother was killed and her uncle in an automobile accident about 8 yrs. ago and the driver of the vehicle who hit them ( yes they died in the same accident) was a liscenced driver. So Amy I have this to say to you, you could kill someone yourself if you were careless enough. And to judge someone for their hard work doesn't make you any better, she should have been congratulated for having the courage to take her drivers test and earn a liscence. She is a very carefull driver! Are You? May God give you the courage to understand that not everyone has the same privleges in life as others do! You try raising 4 children 2 of which were twins and not have a husband around just because he was in the military doesn't mean they were together, all the time he spent most of his life away from them. I could go on and on but whats the use all that matters is we love Debra for who she is and not what she accomplishes. Even though it just makes us love her more!
: Hi i wanted to look at randys reply to this but when i tried to get into it it would not let me. i was wondering if anyone else has had this problem. it says that i am forbidden to read it. i would appreciate it if someone would let me know if this is just me or if noone can get into it ta chris
: : i have to say that i agree with both of them on one hand if debra was driving in a very populated area i think that it was very wrong to drive without a licsence. on the other hand if she lives in a place where everything is 50 miles apart and that was the only way to get any where then i think that it was perfectly fine for her to drive i mean come on u cant live like a hermit for ur entire life just becus of ur eyes
: : :
: : : : Let's ease up on Debra- there are plenty of remote parts of the country where you couldn't hit someone if you tried. My question is - what state? Was this a populated area? I think you were fortunate to find cooperative DMV personel, and am vary courious to know what state this was.

: : : I agree lets ease up on Debra. Let us not judge Dwbra. In 1944(WW 2) at age 14, I drove most of the time out of necessity (legal driving age was 16) but not always. I was not unique. Many of the children in my area were under age drivers. I remember a neighber boy(age 12) who was the only drever in his family & did all the driving for his family.....Our deiving wasn't legal but was necessary at the time....By for now....Paul
